Bumbungan Ecopark ( PAGSANJAN SIDETRIP )

Our sidettrip from PUEBLO SALVADOR that turned out to be ALAY LAKAD on our way to terminal in brgy tibatid cavinti, just because i forgot to get the tryck driver's mobile number

WHen you're going to PUEBLO EL SALVADOR , dont tell manong tryck driver to drop you to an ECOPARK in Brgy Tibatib, because that will make them confuse . They will bring you here .Tell them that it should be PUEBLO EL SALVADOR :)

Overlooking man made falls from Cavinti Bridge

PAGSANJAN FALLS ( @270php adventure challenge )

If you just live nearby towns of Laguna , enjoys Nature Trip and just simply wanna have time to escape from corporate world for a while in just a day or two, this town is a perfect choice for me . The way government promotes their town is really encouraging and if you do practice budget travel as well, LAguna won't squeeze your pocket up to the last cents but will offer a good deal to explore ( uhm just look and research and you will find prices that will fit your budget , unfortunately some locals there offers ''tourist'' or foreigner's price ) . Apparently, the Pagsanjan Adventure tour lift my willingness to set a date right away and talks to whoever could help me reaching the Town of Cavinti and that starts my Sunday get away. Pagsanjan got 2 package tours to choose from , the first one is 1250php wherein you will ride a canoe and get to see 13 rapids on your way to the magnificent pagsanjan, and the other is @270php wherein you will only take a less than an hour trekking , rapelling and rafting . Obviously , i took the latter, am not the adventurous type but what encourage me is the amount of peso that will take me to the Falls . Different price but same thrill . = )

I just wanna share my ''gastos'' haha ,kakatuwa kase! Sulit na sulit! haha

If you're from Cavite, the easiest route will be riding a Van from Pala Pala Dasmarinas. Usually vans will stop in Pagsanjan Terminal but tell manong driver to drop you to Pagsanjan church , few kilometers away from this arch below. chika chikahin nyo nlng heheehe

Unfortunately the bridge that will take you to ride a jeepney to Brgy Tibatib Cavinti is still damaged. So your only option is to cross the less that 20meter wide river under the bridge by a raft for only 2php each and you will found that river near the LA VISTA Hotel , few walks from the church.

After crossing the river under the bridge, ask the locals where to find the jeepneys bound to cavinti and tell manong driver to drop you to Brgy Tibatib ( there's no harm on just asking the drivers ) hehehe = )

From Brgy. Tibatib, ride a tricycle for only 35php each to Puerto del salvador where your trekking would start. Entrance fee for only 270php each ( last 2012 , price is only 150php each )

So this is it! This was my first time to rappel since i am not that adventurous type of person, seeing trees and forest is already an awesome sight for me and doing this kind is only an option. I told myself that after this , it would be an Achievement for someone who got phobia on heights!

There were steel bars along the trail so you wont get lost although the tourguide assigned for you were nowhere in sight. hehe .

A tower style steep ladder going to the Falls. ALl in all you'll need to surpass 500+ steps from this ladder : )

Our first sight of the river , the colorful canoes from above! = )

Surpassing the ladders going down, made me think that we still need to ride a canoe before seeing the Magda & Pio Falls , we ran over the canoes and the guide shouted that the raft and the Falls was on the left side!!

First word came to my mind to describe and seeing the Pagsanjan waterfalls is ''powerfull ''. Second word? ''furious'' . Kase parang kumukulog ! . The water is brown and high but it was still beautiful, indeed! Nakakatulala , ang sarap umupo lang !

The PAGSANJAN FALLS ( Magda & Pio Falls )

So its time to go to the raft and went behind the falls , the Devils Cave. I really am scared knowing that its been called ''Devil'' , but maybe because it was totally dark and when behind the water falls , you will feel there's no way out ! Yes, it's creepy too . I am not fascinated with caves so what was in my mind was SNAKES, i might find snakes there and that brought me to creepy thoughts! hehe

Nakakatuwa ung papasok approaching the waterfalls , i covered my left ear sa lakas ng pressure. I cant describe what i felt ..ok just one word, EXHILARATING! = )

So there after rafting , we stayed in a few minutes and prepared going back to the ecopark. Actually climbing back is more challenging than going to the Devils Cave : )

I appreciate a piece of banana and a cupcake that time , after climbing back on steel ladders ( 500+ steps ) and climbing up to those 2 stations of circular steel bars ( i thought the tourguide will pull me up with my harness on, pero sabe nya akyat daw! hanepz no choice! hahaha) .

I just thought that the adventure was end there at ecopark, hindi pa pala. After changing clothes, i forgot to get the number of the trycycle driver we rode on, so naglakad kame . It took us more than 1hour to get into brgy tibatib's jeepney terminal to pagsanjan. Nagkaron pa tuloy kame ng sidetrip . hehehe Sabe ko sa bf ko pagod nako maglakad . Stop muna kme. Sabe nya '' anu kaba , 'sacrifice is perfect''

Natigilan ako. May mga kuliglig sa paligid. Sabe ko s kanya '' Mas pagod ka ata saken e kugn anu ano na sinasabe mo , anung konek ? hahahahaha. adik! ''

Cacao Falls and Jaimees Resort (Maasin , Southern Leyte )

Still on my Preggo adventure, and these 2 resorts became part of my itinerary . They're already a well developed resorts and a usual place to hang out by the locals there.
My eyes approaching the whole view of the falls , hiding on the trees from where i am standing and taking few shots , beautiful isn't it ?! :)
There you go, Cacao Falls!
However, it wasn't amazing that time as i expected it to be,  i was in a hurry on playing w/ waterfalls but , getting there made me so disappointed . I wasn't allowed to play on the waterfalls because of my condition. Anyways it 's a resort , so there's a swimming pool, it could be an alternative 'tho!   Ayiee!

One of the Hotel's i researched in Southern Leyte was this, Jaimee's resort! Its also a recommended hotel but i didn't stay there, it is costly compared with my 800php pension house i rented in Maasin hehe , but i still visited the place and stayed till sunset!
