SOUTH BATAN

After my half day tour in Sabtang Island , I visited some spots in South Batan area . I wasn't able to see all those places I googled , some I just saw from afar. Nevertheless, I just wanted to see how Marlboro country look like, that's all and I'm done however South Batan landscape is really a masterpiece. Amazing. Simple. Clasic. Wonderful. This place made me felt so tiny just by looking on huge rocks!

These barangays gave me somehow weird feeling. Maybe its because this scene was only seen on horror movies and sound from the motorcycle I rode on overpowered the silence. I enjoyed just looking on landscapes , trees and houses. I refused on taking more pictures while on the motorcycle because I was saving my battery.

The HOUSE OF DACAY. Oldest and strongest house built in Batan.

ALAPAD HILL and ALAPAD ROCK FORMATION. According to Kuya trycycle driver, the rock formation here was man-made. "Nagpasabog daw ng bomba" , in order to have an easy way going to the southest part of Batan. I took a few minutes rest on the hill to capture the scenic view. Overlooking from the hilltop, I saw LORAN STATION, an american military base way back.

. So our next destination was RACUH A PAYAMAN ( Marlboro County ). I was so excited that I wasn't able to ask kuya driver the places that I still wanted to go to. Eto lang, habang nasa byahe.. mabaho yung hangin. Malakas ang hangin pero mabaho. Ayun pala. maraming patay na baka. I asked kuya driver what cause them to death , and he said , there really is a virus spreading on the cows of Batanes. So the owners just let them stay there and they just let those cows lead to death. Dehydrated na din daw . When I was there, sobrang init! Some grasses are not green, but brown. So I gain back my emotions! Happy thoughts... happy thoughts.
This overlooking view is another village. Kuya driver mentioned that only hundreds of people living there. So what if there was a strong typhoon? What about storm surge? Anyway, there are many options, hills are everywhere! :)

RACUH A PAYAMAN or MALBORO COUNTRY was a dream come true to me! A childhood dream! One of those places I've browsed on the pages of MABUHAY MAGAZINEs we had on our old house. Ang saya saya ko talaga nung andun ako!! Although I didn't see a perfect green grassland, (some are brown due to scorching heat) I am still overwhelmed to see rolling hills. Masarap tumakbo pababa!Magpagulong gulong at kumanta ng "The hills are alive to the song of music....With songs they have sung for a thousand years",

Nakakatulala siya talaga!hehe. So, what to do aside on being "tulala" is to do a jumpshot!

Buti na lang supportive si kuya driver na kuhanan ako ng pics! LOL

My last stop. CHAWA VIEW DECK. I wasn't able to go to the last few steps going downstairs pero the water was really turquoise. Di na din namen napuntahan ung iba, nagshortcut kase si kuya, nagreklamo na din ung senior citizen na kasama ko sa trycycle. (hay, that's the reason why I prefer to do things alone ) It's almost sunset na din so we had to go back to North Batan. This how I ended my tour in Batanes and have to fly back to Cavite. Masaya kahit saglit lang...

MOA Eye ( SM Mall Of Asia )

Aug 26 , and it was my birthday!! My 33th birthday! :)

So I guess, I had to celebrate. If I am single, I won't celebrate every year ,and since I have few peeps who love me and I already had "my proof of my existence" , so there, we had a small celebration.

PAGOD AT LAMON SA LAMESA GRILL
ROAD TRAIN

I've tried this ride too but I really had a hard time balancing..parang ansaya pa namang tignan!

AIRPLANES!! Julians' favorite! I really wonder how do kids enjoy this , we felt nauseous.

We needed a few minutes of rest , toddlers don't! Toddlers got so much energy on on this amusement park

Wala sa Itinerary to Julian..pero cge na .. gO!! hehe

Capturing this beautiful sunset!
