Google says, that Gelato is an Italian word for "ice cream", however, difference between the usual ice cream that we know and the original Gelato shows on the texture and the process. I have tried eating a gelato before in Greenbelt and I would say that it's thicker, creamier, flavorful and much more delicious than a regular ice cream that I am buy in malls/stores. It's also healthier because it has less fat.
